I am Batito Salideku, not any wiser than you are nor any more blessed than you are. I have seen struggle, known love, felt rage and confusion at the human condition. Your thoughts are yours, mine are just that — mine.

Our collective thoughts ring throughout the ages, the wisdom of old souls who have shared these feelings that bedevil us all, who looked forward with hope in teary eyes — toward these times that you and I call the present, their own future.

Perhaps their hopes were too high? Perhaps the human condition will forever be a cycle of distraught longing, for a better future… rinse, repeat.

My thoughts are mine, and I freely share them with you. Stare into my soul through these hallowed pages, see a reflection of you, of me, of us all — perhaps you will find understanding, and a meaning to it all.
